It has been over 250 years since the Hellenic National Anthem was composed by Manzaris on the verses of Dionissios Solomos. Hellas has gone through wars, tears and bleeding, lost children and land and is still one of the very few ancient nations that keeps its unique identity and ethnic culture resempling with that of the ancient times. Tomorrow before going to the Independence Day's festivities and when we are waiving the Blue and White Stripes Flag of Hellas let's think of all those that sacrificed their lives for making us live free.
